I always say I’m from Catamarca because it is easier than saying I’m from a small town called Tinogasta that’s located ~280km west from San Fernando del Valle, and also… See? It’s already a long explanation. But it is quite curious, because I consider myself more tinogasteño than catamarqueño, each place has things that make them very different, specially people.
What I’m saying is, I know I belong to Catamarca by definition, but I never took a trip to the capital to shoot it. But that changed in September 2018 when I travelled there to teach some workshops and we went out shooting at night at La Cébila. I only took a few pictures because I was teaching all the time, but I think those photographs deserve a place in my portfolio. Also, that’s the perfect excuse to go back and visit the place again, so I can keep adding photos to this gallery.
